Lisbon Libraries are celebrating International Children's Book Day (April 2-5) with a special program. Get ready for enchanted tales, creative workshops and encounters with magical characters. -
Crafts with charm
The Cascais Municipal Library – Casa da Horta da Quinta de Santa Clara is hosting the exhibition “The World of Children’s Literature: Meeting Literary Characters” until the end of the month. This is a unique opportunity for young children to marvel at rag dolls that come to life through stories. -
The Science Behind Magic
The Science of Pixar exhibition, at the Pavilhão do Conhecimento (until September 14), continues to delight children and adults alike. Discover the secrets of animation and how science makes our favorite films even more special. -
Easter fun
Easter in Vila Cascais (4th to 21st April, Parque da Quinta da Alagoa, Carcavelos) promises to be a lot of fun with themed activities for the whole family. And keep an eye out for the traditional Easter Egg Hunt at the Ajuda Botanical Garden (date to be confirmed)! -
Holidays with imagination
Several venues offer Easter after-school activities (various dates in April), such as Dance Spot Campo Grande and Centro Ser Mais, with activities ranging from dance to sports. MAAT has also prepared Easter Workshops 2025 (April 7-17) to awaken the artistic and scientific side of the youngest.

Boutique da Cultura brings to the stage The Pied Piper of Hamelin (March 30 to May 25), a classic story told in a fun way. Chapitô presents EGO (April 4 to 6), a show that combines several performing arts. Teatro Sá da Bandeira – Estúdio Latino brings to the stage Os Guardiões do Oceano (from May 7, but with dates in April), a marine adventure. Serralves has prepared the Easter Holidays at Serralves 2025 (April 8-10) with several activities, culminating in the traditional Egg Hunt (April 13).
